Re: Clicks but won't go
If they really are at 8 volts exactly, they are almost dead. Charge them fully then we can begin testing...

Re: Clicks but won't go
8 volts is less than 50% charge. What is the total of the pack?

Re: Clicks but won't go
Does anybody have any ideas on things I can start checking and how to check them?

Re: Clicks but won't go
I've got power to the motor. It's a 48v 3.2 horsepower special service. My cart is lifted with 12" tires. The night this happened I had three big people riding "650lbs total" and I was probably hot rodding and showing off. Could I have burned my motor up? And how can I test it?

Re: Clicks but won't go
Regen II system was a short lived experiment. Produced for 18 months, I believe... not the strongest drive system you may have fried the control. Check to see that you do in fact have 48v between controller B- and M- just after the solenoid clicks. If yes, this voltage should decrease to near 0 as the peddle is pressed down. This is the sign of a working control.
If you dont get these results you may have a bad control or no power to it. Do you have a meter and know how to use it? |

Re: Clicks but won't go
I've got a good fluke meter and know basically how to use it. What is controller b and m? Forgive my dumb questions as I am very new to this.

Re: Clicks but won't go
Find a wire diagram for your cart. You can't do diagnostics without it. Controller terminals B+ B- and M- should be clearly marked on your controller's large terminals.
