See my post above

Once you determine if the solenoid is in fact working, you can move on to diagnosing the controller and throttle input.

Really? Is the precharge resistor removed? If it is the solenoid is welded shut and must be replaced. Or the activation circuit is constantly on… Activation circuit consists of a positive and a negative, one each on the small posts.

Scooter will help you test the solenoid.

Scotty your the cart expert, I'm not trying to step on toes here, i agree with you. I was just replying as he wasn't getting much input at the time.

So
Anyway

You completely swapped solenoids? I need a schematic and it is getting late lol. The solenoid clicks and it switches from close to open when you operate the pedal. This leads me to believe it is switching from what your saying when your reading the violtages just opposite of what it should. I'm wondering about the control signals. Really unless someone is famille with this issue. I need to look at the schematic and symmetrically test through the pics of elimination. If I was there then I can get my hands on it would be different.

Regardless it doesn't seem to be that bad, remove the resistor like Scotty said and run his test if you haven't already.

Simple solenoid test, disconnect the two big cables to the solenoid. Set your meter to conductivity test with no pedal it should be open contact, which means testing from one big lug to the other. Then pedal down it should conduct and your meter beeps. This check the functionality of the coil and opening and closing contacts. It won't help with coroaded or pitted contacts over time these high current contacts will Pitt up and just not handle the current anymore. You would have to tear it apart to see that.

Ok this morning I'm looking at a schematic, it looks like your model has Two solenoids is this correct or no?
