95 cc ds 48v no click when key on

hey there I've got a 95 ccds and when I turn the key to on position it doesn't click anymore. replaced batteries a few weeks ago due to shorted cells in two of them. placed on charge and the charger stayed on for only 30 minutes and turned off. cart did work after that drove it around my neighborhood for a bit and plugged it back in an hour later and still only charged for a short period. transported to my up north getaway where it stays in the summer and the cart only moved 100 yards and stopped and had to push it back. now I have nothing. added accessory lights work and reverse buzzer still comes on. but that's it. any help is greatly appreciated thanks

first thing to do is check all wires and connections
then check solenoid they can go bad and they make the click

ok I have the seat off looking under the rear part of the cart is that the piece on the passenger side of the cart. kiinda feeling a little on the dumb side of this being that I'm an ase master tech and cant figure out a golf cart is a little demeaning to me

im assuming to get the rear tiresoff the ground. its already up on jack stands just in case something started working without me wanting it to

Every time I do a mod I jack up rear before testing. Was reading one poor guys thread where his took off and nailed his new BMW and then proceeded to catch fire. I always point mine out the garage even with it jacked up !! Crash will keep you in the straight and narrow...
