Default what kind of battery charger do I need?

I have a circa 2007 Precedent 48 volt GC that has IQ on the side. Anyway the original charger that came with it evidently needs a relay and the guy at Battery Source (chain of battery stores in South Georgia) says it needs a new relay which cost about $125 to replace.
I am looking at prices and a new 48 volt IQ chargers run about $300.
I am thinking it would be more prudent to buy a new charger than repair the old one.
What does anyone think and what brand of battery charger would you recommend that won't break the bank...
Thanks.

When my charger fails I am going to replace it with the one ScottyB sells. I forget the name but it is the one that eliminates the OBC. BTW I have a 2010 Precedent.

DPI charger FTW

If and when any of mine blow, that's what'll be replacing them.

ditto, i may not even wait, this charger works better as it is a maintainer also, so your batteries are better off in the long run.
