Default ignitor on club car

I have a cart that run and then stops I took the rev limiters ground loose and It still run. I'm just not sure how long.
My question. Can I change the all in one rev limiter and ignitor back to a separate Ignitor without any major problems or changes ?? Lot of price difference.

Thanks for the help
