Club Car ds solenoid randomly drops out
I have a 2005 club car ds that has a brand new solenoid and I bypassed the microswitch in the mcor with a paperclip and it still randomly cuts out turns back on on its own. Sometimes the solenoid cuts out and you have to let off the gas and push it back down for it to turn on. I just need a little advice on what to test.

Re: Club Car ds solenoid randomly drops out
It's not a no pedal response or a speed sensor issuse because while you are driving it randomly turns off and then back on

Re: Club Car ds solenoid randomly drops out
Is there anyway that it could be the controller causing this issue?

Re: Club Car ds solenoid randomly drops out
There is a chance the speed sensor could have a loose connection. Maybe you could try unhooking it and spraying contact cleaner in the connector. I worked on equipment for years. I made lots of money cleaning connections.

Re: Club Car ds solenoid randomly drops out
It is not the speed sensor because it works fine. I tested the voltage of the two smaller wires on the solenoid it self and when the solenoid drops out it looses all voltage to it. since the blue and white positive comes out of the controller, is there anyway the controller could be broken and causing this?
