Well, I'm hoping that the custom shop that I bought it from honors the one year warranty he gave me and at least gives me a discount on some Trojans or something good. If not, I'm going the cheap route. Didn't see much in the forums about the Powerfast, but I would expect to get a few years out of them.

What I'm trying to figure out is with my new Alltrax DCX 400 controller what I should expect in terms of performance with expensive batteries vs. cheapos. Not battery life, simply torque and speed. Might also upgrade the cables if it would help.

My wife doesn't like my cart since I change the controller out to the DCX400, she doesn't put her heal on the floor board when pressing the "gas" pedal and it looks like a bucking bronco as she takes off.

Now as far as the choice of batteries, if you buy cheap that is exactly what you'll get and you'll regret it sooner than later. Spend the extra now for Trojans !!!!!

Talked to Corple Corral golf carts in Sanger where I bought it, if I can get a trailer and get it there, they are going to do a load test and pro-rate my batteries for me. We'll see .....

To me, "Pro-rate" is a term meaning get the KY and bend over.
