Default ezgo gas peddle

the clicking noise u hear from stepping on the gas peddle is there a selinoid under the cart or is it the on in the box with the tow switch

You gotta help us out.... Either put the year and model of your cart in a signature panel or post it each time you ask a question because not all golf carts are the same


What you are describing is a micro-switch on the ITS unit on an Electric cart

sorry it is a ezgo 1996 they say it is a 6 volt? would the mjcro switch cause it to just up and quit going while u were driving if it went out if so and if u no how would i test it was driving and it just stopped going batterys are charged term are clean and good same for wiring how ever no more clicking in gas peddle ele cart

To answer your ?'s yes if the micro switch failed then the cart would be dead. Easy to check though just time consuming.
Take the drivers side rocker plate off and remove the rubber mat until you see the square box lid. Right behind the gas pedal. Between the pedal and seat. In the picture you see the square hole with wires sticking out. That's where the micro will be. Unplug the 2 wires and make a jumper for them and see if it runs. If so then you know the micro is bad. You need to check the micro switch also it could be something else.





Here is a close up with it removed. The yellow wire is my jumper. You can drive it this way but it's not the safest thing to do.
