Default jerky drive

I have a 97 txt in the shop the problem was after it got wet when you put your foot on the pedal it would jerk and take off really hard and fast with the pedal barely mashed I suspected the its sensor took it off and the poxy was cracked due to age replaced the its sensor and it worked fine for a little while I washed the cart to deliver it and the jerky motion came back I have already tried another controller with no effect any ideas

FYI I found the problem the ITS wiring harness connector at the controller was corroded and when it got wet it was not shorting but it was bleeding between terminals made repairs and all is good

Yea the first time I suspected the ITS because the poxy was cracked and I thought water was getting in it I have had that happen before sometimes those bleeders are hard to diagnose
