I think you can run a 12 wheel you will have to have a tire with a very short side wall. Allsports offers a 3 inch lift which will accept 21 inch tires with 10 or 12 wheels.

2010 precedent with 215/40-12, I have a medium-duty rear spring, but that was a while ago due to the weight of back seat passengers.

These 40 profile tires have a good amount of sidewall.

Sharp !!!

I like tires that maintain a good beefy sidewall....

One of my golfing buddies has a 2006 precedent that has 12 inch wheels with 40 profile tires. Mine has 10 inch wheels with 50 profile tires. They both measure 17-1/2 inch high on the ground with cart weight on them 20 psi in tires.

Let me start by saying I am new to owning a golf cart. My current CC is my first. The first thing I researched was putting a set of 12" wheels and low profile tires on it. I can't tell you one way or the other for "sure" that you can use 12" wheels because the wheel and tire dimensions will make a lot of difference. Also the wheel offset. There are so many options available its hard to say definitely "yes" or "no".

What I can tell you from researching is that the major set back with 12" wheels on a CC is the wire chase located in the passenger side wheel well. This "might" rub a 12" wheel/tire when turned sharply. Again, it depends on the wheel/tire combo. From my understanding Madjax makes a Low-Pro Lift Kit 16-013 ($60) for this exact problem. It is a small aluminum block that gives the front a very small lift that prevents the rubbing. The wire chase can also be cut out and removed.

The other problem is if you have a rear seat installed you would need heavy duty rear springs.

The ones I posted are from a site sponsor and don't require any kind of lift. Actually I think it would look bad if you raise the front end. The rim offset becomes more of an issue if you have really wide wheels. The 215mm is the same width as the 8.5in stock tires.

I actually had the same thought although it only raises is a 1" or so. For looks, I would probably prefer just removing the wire chase and patching the hole but that would be quite a bit more work. Never tried either personally but both are options if needed. Just waiting on some extra money for wheel/tires and I will probably have to do one or the other.
