94 DS resistor to controller cart

Im just got a 94 DS given to me and was wondering what would be the best way to convert it to a controller cart. Get a Newer style v-glide or a universal pot box? gonna convert it to 48V as well.

Parts list
1. Controller
2. Pot box/newer style v-glide?
3. batteries
4. charger
5. new solenoid
6. new battery cables.

Is this all i need. And if I do get a newer style v-glide how do i connect it to the controller, It has some funky plug on it, do i cut it off or is there an adapter that hook it to the controller. Any guidance helps. Thank you

Installed Scotty's kit on my DS last month. Couldn't have been easier and more complete.

Hands down, a CU kit is definitely the way to go.

I was thinking about piecing together a kit since i can order everything I need from my distributors but i might just go with CU set up.

You've got the best advice you need. Scotty will be there to help before, during, and even after installation/conversion. There may be other site sponsors on here with similar packages who are also good folks, but I do know that Scotty's products and service are an A plus in my book.

Your just fooling yourself, if you think you can piece together a "kit".
Scottys kit, has custom parts that you will not be able to find or duplicate.

Also, his kits are complete, and you get his support, priceless.
