Default 97 EZ, Series switch... from regen?

Will a series motor bolt straight to my stock regen rear end? It says spicer on the tag, I can attach pictures of the tag if important... about to order assassin from PQ, Rick says... its all good (paraphrasing of course),just want to make sure before ordering. Thanks in advance.

Nope, it won't work in a '97, otherwise I would have one in mine.
