Reverse Light

Hi i have a 92 EZGO Electric cart and i want to put a reverse light on the dash so my dad can see its in reverse b4 you accelerate.

Did you disconnect the reverse buzzer?

If so, reconnect it.

Don't see why you couldn't. Just find an led that will handle 36vt and wire it where the buzzer would be.

but i want it to switch on when i first put it in reverse if i wire it to the buzzer it will only go on once i put my foot on the pedal. I want it to light up the minute u put it in reverse.

The buzzer should sound as soon as it's shifted into reverse.

Nope it only sounds when you put your foot on the go pedal. :(

I agree. My TXT I have owned since new sounds the reverse buzzer as soon as the lever is put into reverse-----key on or not. My Marathon is the same way.

Control wiring on the cart is wrong.

If i post a photo of the batteries and stuff can someone try help me how its set up cause it all seems wrong compared to pics and stuff i seen.
