Make my 1998 electric EZ Go faster with more torque.
I want to optimize the speed of my 1998 EZ Go electric golf cart. it has all original parts on it and I am looking for ways or products to enhance the speed and torque up hills. Also want the autobrake to stop when going downhill. Any help??

Welcome to BGW!
Your '98 cart would be a DCS cart if it has "auto braking". It is actually called regenerative braking, or regen. |

Get you a 600 amp alltrax programmable controller and a 12 hp motor, that should do the job.

I beleive it is a TXT. it has the reverse lever below the seat and not a rocker switch on the dash, if that helps.

Well if the F&R switch is between your legs and it doesn't have a run/tow switch on controller cover its a series cart. If im wrong about that please let me know.

The answer about the TOW/RUN switch has not been answered yet, So we do not know if it is a DCS or a Series, not sure where you came up with the answer that it is a series cart
