Re: Help with EZGO PDS
Ur just paying for the name with Trojans, the US batteries are very similar in ratings and are quite a bit less expensive

Re: Help with EZGO PDS
I bought the Trojans not only for their reputation, but they cost about the same or less than other brands in this area, so might want to check prices before you make your final decision. Jusy my $0.02

Re: Help with EZGO PDS
Trojan batteries are the BEST. IMHO. Even though, none of my carts have them. I am not ballin out of control like Bill is jk
But, they are great batteries nonetheless. |

Re: Help with EZGO PDS
they r great batteries, but ur STILL paying for the name. US, Powertron have identical ratings, warranty and about 20% cheaper, certainly worth considering when investing in one of the single most expensive items on your cart

Re: Help with EZGO PDS
I can't argue there. It's like Chevrolet and GMC. Crown batteries are great too.

Re: Help with EZGO PDS
Ratings can be strewn, bottom line is how many plates and of what thickness. This determines which battery stores the most amperage. Since we rarely get that info we go by general weight. Most cases are the same weight so the difference is in lead... Crown CR225 is 2 pounds heavier than T105 and $10 less in my neck of the woods that is the deciding factor.
The US2200 is a good battery, don't get the smaller US1800. Hope this helps. |
