Are you sure you have 36v going into the controller?
And no ~ never ground anything on an electric golf cart to the frame. |

yes i have 36 at controller. i put new wires on batteries today. gona charge it again tonight and change wires from controller to batteries in morning and start over! thanks for helping me. i want to be sure before i buy a controller

ok i charged all night batteries still reading 37.4 at posts and 36.8from b- to b+ at top of controller.from m- to either big terminal of solenoid get 0 when pressing gas it goes to about 7 volts.rear end jacked up wheels turning but very slow! im assuming this is a bad speed controller

im assuming because it didnt go on off on off that its the controller . i have ordered another and will let you know how it goes ! thanks so much

update: ok while waiting on controller i decided to look at only thing i hadnt looked aT. the pedal box and guess what the "plunger" had came unscrewed .put it back and seems to be back to normal!now on to the lights .then put painted body back on ! thanks so much
