I got my G2 with a black top over 2 years ago. It's a single layer and has never sagged. I don't know how long it was black before I got it.

I live in Northern Utah. That top has seen 120 degrees and -20 degrees. Never had a problem.

Mines all back too and no problems with heat or sagging... plus it looks snazzy too!!!
