Default Ready for PDS upgrades

I have 09 PDS stock. I would like to bump up speed to about 25mi. I use it primarily on the golf course and around the neighborhood. I would like to upgrade in stages from cartsunlimited: 1st I would like to get one of the speed packages (controller & solenoid) and maybe 2ga cables? What kind of speed gains can I get from this? Can I still use my speed chip with the 400amp Alltrax controller? My second stage will be motor upgrade(plumquick/bandit). What kind of speed upgrades can I expect from the motor. Not sure I will be upgrading to 48v anytime soon cause my battery pack is still good. I'm iffy on the big tire cause I may not be able to use it on the course? Please set me straight on my thoughts. Thanx

Pkg #808 will give you 24mph on stock size tires and increase your torque about 35-40% It is best to increase the cables to handle the increased amperage flow. 4 or 2g work. 2g is better for the 36v system.... The PQ Bandit will give you 2-3mph more but you need to program the Alltrax controller to be compatible with that motor. We do that here, no problem

Ahh, the man I need to talk to. You sir have everything I need. I would like to get the pkg and cables all at once. Maybe we can workout a deal ;) ? Is the motor upgrade worth the money or can I better spend $300 on something else? Last question: Can I still use the speed chip with the new controller? Thanx Scottyb

Sorry, I forgot about the speed chip question. You can not use the speed 'chip' with the Alltrax or any aftermarket controller. And you won't need or miss it.
Include it as a selling point with your controller when you sell it.
We can certainly work a deal, email me at cartsunlimited@hughes.net or call 951-461-9626 when the comes up on the west coast

You should see how well the stock motor responds to the Alltrax control and then decide for yourself if you need a 2-3mph upgrade, I think you are going to have a big grin on your face zooming around the golf course .... I would rather see you save that $300 and buy a complete upgraded motor later on if you need more zip.

All of the components are 'plug n play'. And all of my cables have numbered tags that correspond to the pictorial install diagram. My install instructions & diagrams have been tested by dummies who were not harmed during the test.

sounds great.. With the cables set-up--when would you need 8 pcs vs 10 for my particular setup? Can I still use the same cables if and when I upgrade to a 48v? I will consider this upgrade once its time to replace the batteries (6-8v setup). Thanx

You would do well to consider doing something for more brakes. Scotty can hook you up there as well.
