Default 93 Western-front end collapse

I have a 1993 Western 200 (electric). Went over a cart path bump (tree root), heard a "bang". The front end went down onto the front wheels. I've pulled the wheels and put it on jacks - see no obvious damage or breaks - shocks are connected at both ends, spring clips are fully bolted, wheels turn. Would appreciate any suggestions for other things to check/test.

Thanks!

Likely a broken spring. Is it leaning to one side? I have seen it where they break off in front and then the spring falls down and sets neatly on the tie rod, still looking attached.

You must measure the spring hole to hole if you are to get the correct replacement - if needed.

It lists slightly to the right. Will measure. Thanks

If you have a floor jack, place it under the spring and lift a little... see if it is attached in front

whole heartily. This sure sounds like a broken spring. The only thing really keeping your front end in place and stable is the spring. The shock looks like it is a point of major connection but it really is there to dampen the bounce not absorbed threw the spring.

I'll go all in and call it a spring like Scotty suggested. I could be wrong but not much else is in the system to break and cause that issue.

Thanks everyone. It looks like a broken spring and beyone my very limited mechanical abilities. Time to find a good mechanic!
