I have to say thanks. I'm going to look at a similar cart Saturday & truthfully, that's the first time I ever saw one without the bodywork.

Great project! Something tells me this cart has done some underwater recon. Maybe it's the snails, LOL! Be sure to open the diff pan, and remove the motor to have a look inside.

It spent a lot of time on Sanibel Island, so there may be a chance it went under at one point.... That's good advice to check the motor and diff.

Good news, no water...
Well I have done a lot more cleaning. Now I am on the start of reassembly. Replaced all the battery cables, found the motor cables had to be replaced too. Installed all new batteries. Got all the lights working. |
