Default Opinions on value...

Hello everyone, I am new to the whole golf cart world but looking to purchase one. I found one around my area but don't have a whole lot of info yet. Going to look at it on Friday. I will attach a pic that I have from the listing. Here is the little I know from the phone conversation....

EZ Go Extended
Year: 99 to 01
Voltage: 36 volts
Batteries: less than a year old
Comes new tires and with a battery charger.

Looking for inputs of price opinions. He is looking to get $1000, sound like a decent price?

i would say it most certainly is. i have a club car limo and paid 1500 for mine. now mine needs a little work in order to modernize it. but from what i can see from the pic it is worth it. i am new to this as well but from what i have read and what i have been told, the frame it self is probably worth more than that. i would jump on it and drive it like you stole it!!!!!

$1,000? Is it stolen? The batteries alone are @$700.

That looks like an old picture, the driver's side rear looks flat (and not new)

I'd agree with the rest, $1000 for that cart looks pretty good. The batteries are at least 500-700 depending on what part of the country you're in, IF they are only a year old.

Oh yeah, ask him why he's selling it. It does seem pretty cheap. Maybe there's damage to the frame or something odd.

as the others already said....THAT IS A STEAL!!

since you are new to carts, do a few things when you get to see it in person.

Look at the battery compartment, what is the general condition? is the battery tray corroded? crawl under it, look for the general condition of the frame and suspension, fron and rear.

I have seen a few in the past when I was looking.....they looked like a steal on the surface....adn were "pretty"....but once you pulled back the skin, it was time to RUN.
