Default Buggie bucking!

Used cart Saturday all day absolutely no troubles. Loaded cart on trailer and made the 80 mile trip home in the pouring rain.
Got home went to unload cart from trailer and she started bucking like crazy. In reverse it took off like a bat out of he!!. Almost making me kiss the steering wheel it was so unexpected. In reverse it's WIDE OPEN or nothing.
Put it in forward and EEEEEASED on the accelerator and she started bucking and lurching. I had to go full speed to get it to calm down. But I can't enter the place where I keep it all full speed so I lurched it on into its parking spot.

What the heck is going on? It's a 2009 pds. I have one of Scotty B's 500 amp controllers. One year old batteries and new cables. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Sounds like the throttle inductive sensor (ITS) There are a lot of people here smarter on this subject than I, but I do remember reading a few posts were people got this wet and had the same symptoms you do. It is located in a box under the floor mat and is linked to the accelerator pedal. I believe you can just dry them out. Try a search for inductive throttle sensor under electric EZGO and read the stickies at the beginning of the forum concerning troubleshooting. This should get you in the right direction until one of the electrical gurus chime in.
