A litle more, the reverse stud is just a few degrees off from the forward stud causing reverse spin,

THANKS. OK, that is awesome! That (finally :) ) was excellent reference, showing how the flow gets reversed across A1 and A2. Not finding any internal diagrams of the F/R switch really did me in. Those last diagrams explained perfectly. see.... I KNEW there were awesome guys out there!
Looking at the diagrams, you can see troubleshooting with a volt meter (at the same points) is going to be very different, depending on forward or reverse.
I also didn't realize the 2 wires (from A1 and from the coils) actually pivoted with the center movable contact.
Thanks guys, you're the bomb! I'm sure a ton of others learned along with me.

That power circuit diagram was also an excellent post. Hope I've said thanks enough times.
It's too bad that the F/R switch for this model wasn't posted before. Just a ton of good help from you guys and this board.

Hey Bill....Crash has diagrams on how to draw diagrams...its nothing new..good source for info and pictures...lots and lots of pictures..and did I say pictures!
