Just bought a 98 EZGO. Thanks to the search function and a little reading, I learn its a DCS. I also learn that DCS seems to be one of the more difficult (or $$) models to increase the speed on :(

This cart will be used 98% for golf purposes (I have ATV's for other fun!) It seems a little slow to me, but it's probably normal for this cart?

I'm looking to get 20ish MPH if possible. What I'm wondering is, can I get a new motor, and use the stock controller and end up with more MPH? or do I need both the motor and controller to achive more speed?

thanks for the help all

Rian

You are asking for trouble trying to accomplish that with a DCS car it will take a lot more cash and if its not done right you will spend more down the road the DCS was a good platform for the coarse but not so in the after market when changes are made
