James Condon's latest video shows why all my clones have shaft rockers swapped in. Doing this removes the push rod guide plate from the valve train. When I tore my 2014 VC460 down I seen the guide plate was somewhat ovaled out with the high ratio rocker arms and near 200 hours of run time.Sho 305's lifan showed a similar thing. With the shaft rocker arms the valve lash setting really holds up even after tons of hours of use

Got my 2ND covid booster shot today. Just like the original booster no side effects at all.

Well yesterday I had a HARD time starting Vicki. Gave her spray and got here going. Parked her outside and thought I would give things a once over. Went to put her back in the garage and NO start again. Got her running and the in the garage no start AGAIN. I was so POed that I started pricing LI conversion thinking on buying one of the dead Precedents here on the island. Finally today after A LOT of d*cking around figured out it was a dead fuel pump. Still in shock another dead fuel pump let alone the Holley 12-426 that I thought was bullet proof. Pulled the other Holley out of Suzi BUT now what ???

Vicki is all back together and running. When the low pressure 40105 Facet fuel pump arrives I decided to try next I will swap it in see if and tuning issues are needed. I wonder IF the fuel return line's extra flow is killing all these pumps ?

hmm, looks like I missed a few pages lol. Weather has not been good here always cold on weekends and warm on wednesdays. I might get the heat on out back and work on my mower but too cold to take a ride on cart.

Well the Facet fuel pump I ordered on E Bay came today BUT it was a chinese copy and not an USA Facet pump I thought I ordered. The seller used the Facet pump in the picture BUT did not use the brand in his description. I messaged him but so far no reply and I don't know with the what I consider a false ad with the picture as to where I stand with Ebay.

Seller did not respond so I filed a claim with the required pics and E Bay sent a prepaid return label. Not sure what to do next. Suzi's Holley is on the cart for now BUT is it going to fail also ? I ordered a supposedly genuine Facet pump from Pegasus Auto. We will see what actually gets sent.

The Facet fuel pump arrived today and it is a genuine USA produced unit. Installed and pumping away in Vicki. I HOPE this is the last fuel pump I am putting in Vicki. I had thought with the 2 B&S pumps that failed in both carts and the Holley pump that failed in Vicki. I will put the still working Holley pump back in Suzi and hope for the best. I did look a the Holley pumps and seen the were assembled in the USA as there are now cheap china copies like I received for the first facet unit. The seller of that unit claims they were unaware of picturing one thing and shipping another as they use a variety of suppliers filling their orders.
