Changing Potentiometer on 90 Marathon- wire colors question
I'm switching out my old poteniometer but the new one has blue-brown colored wires instead of black-white. Can anyone tell me which color (blue or brown) corresponds to the original (black or white) going to the FNR Switch and control Module?
Also, any availability for a free downloadable service manual for a 90 marathon with solid state speed control? It appears every other cart is freely available but I don't see one for the electric marathon. You guys are great and I appreciate this wonderful resource. Thanks, JT |

Re: Changing Potentiometer on 90 Marathon- wire colors question
As long as the new sensor shows near 0 ohms at rest, and near 5000 ohm at full throttle, it won't matter. Just be super sure to plug the wires back onto pins #2 & #3 where they came from. It's not a "wrong polarity" type of circuit.
