Your second picture (the one with the solenoid), is that black wire by itself the "positive" activation?

Those solenoids with the "+" marking are polarized and can only be connected one way.

I am currently going thru the same thing with BU harness and using a Alltrax 500 controller. When I press the acceleration pedal the bus fuse on the harness blows. The controller shows a current overload. Still can't figure this out.

I would recommend starting a new thread. Give as much information about your current setup as possible (year, model, 36v or 48v, etc.). This will get better advice quicker.

On another note... How did picture number 5 from post #10, from the OP not become a meme!?!?!?!?!? Classic! Exactly how I felt going in to my project!!!

Get rid of the universal crap BU harness and order a factory IQ harness. I don't deal with BU at all, but it's my understanding that the harness is very expensive and hardly any of my customers are able to make it work. I've never personally seen one myself. The factory harness is plug and play.

i have a Nivel part#39000 harness and it does not come with a 6 pin connector for the OBC. is there a harness that comes with that connector for a 2006 DS? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Contact David Hicks in the link right above your post. He will get you the OEM harness that is plug and play. You do need to convert to MCOR4 also if you have the V-glide.

The one you have now is a "one size fits almost none" harness.
