I agree on the 8v batteries. Besides better range, the battery compartment is a cleaner install also. Much simpler battery hold downs. Easy to get to all the fill holes (relatively). 170 AH batteries in my cart. Periodically I do a range test. Last time (May) the cart produced these numbers: 10.67 miles with average speed 10.4, max speed 24.2. After 30 min. rest batteries measured 50.5 ~10% used 90% remaining. temp was 75°.
190ah 8v batteries and/or Trojan Rangers 204ah would add range also.

Tire pressure down around the 10psi area can cut into range also.
