RXV female receptacle grey wire

I understand the grey sensor wire needs replaced because the black sensor part has been chopped off, but is that grey wire only vital for charging the cart or will it not run either if it is broken? Thanks

It has 2 wires inside the "grey wire". It should run, but will not charge with the factory charger. The charge port actually has a circuit board inside. Not "all easy breezy" like a Yamaha. You may have murdered the charge ports "fancy electronics" which can shut down the whole cart. Thought you knew bro.Please lookup more BGW info on the rxv charge port. BTW, if you want to "fake out" those two wires inside that "grey wire", a 10k ohm resistor on those 2 will tell everything that battery temperature is A-ok.

Yes I already arranged for a new receptacle to ship next day for the customer. No no, I didn’t murder anything, the cart came in dead already with said grey wire already chopped at the end. So what you mean is the customer/someone else murdered the fancy electronics lol..I did my due diligence.
