48 to 12v reducer install issue
Installed a VOLTSeasy reducer on my 06 DS cart to power a Pyle Bluetooth Amp only. Not headlights. Appears I installed correctly as per instructions and volts are right on input and output. Amp works fine until I press accelerator and then nothing. Let off accelerator and amp comes back on. I haven’t tested voltage output yet when accelerator on... need another set of hands. Is there something obvious that I might be missing? Maybe a ground issue? Appreciate any insight.

Re: 48 to 12v reducer install issue
Sounds like your pack is weak and when you give it the throttle, the voltage drop is further then your reducer can support.
Hook a DVM up to the pack and lay it on your seat and see where it is dropping to when you hit the throttle. Note- A fully charged pack is 50.93 volts..... |

Re: 48 to 12v reducer install issue
Thanks. My pack is good I think. It’s a 4x12 setup less than year old and output is +50v at idle but I don’t know the drop under load so sounds like I need that from both the pack direct and via the reducer output before I can diagnose. Appreciate the help.
