Brakes
I have a 2002 club car DS. I finally have everything working correctly. I’m having a problem with the cart clunking or dragging when going .not all the time just when batteries get low. Once I get moving it cleans up and goes well. It really acts like the brakes are locking up, but doesn’t do it when the batteries are freshly charged. Any ideas from anyone?

If that is a Series cart it is completely normal when the batteries are low. Note- For it to be that bad, you have driven it too long and you are further damaging your pack and overworking your electronics.

That’s what I thought, it starts doing that after about 15 to 20 minutes. Are the batteries going bad?

Sounds like it. You need to check them ~12 hours after the charge completed and see if they are at least 50.9 volts so you know they are fully charged. Then you need to carry your DVM with you (hooked up to the pack) and see where the voltage is dropping 20 minutes later as you feel the shuttering occur.
