Starting with an XCT and NO HARNESS. Which should I use?
I'm going to be replacing a dead Curtis 1268-5411 controller with an Alltrax XCT. Since the 1268 plug isn't compatible with any available XCT's, which XCT should I choose that would be easiest to make a harness for? The PDS version? TXT 48?
I'm basically wanting to start fresh with a controller with no existing low current wires. I know this is easy on a series drive but the sepex is more complicated. |

There is a conversion harness for this cart. Post a pic of your plug to be sure.

Re: Starting with an XCT and NO HARNESS. Which should I use?
It’s an oddball. The pins do not match the regular 1268 diagram.

Yup - we have an adapter for the stock 1268 controller harness to the XCT for G19 control

Re: Starting with an XCT and NO HARNESS. Which should I use?
This is a WEIRD 1268. Custom made for this Cushman hauler. The pins that are normally not used are used and the ones used are in a different order. Do you still think it would work? I don’t really...[emoji52]

If you have doubts call the Alltrax tech support line at 541+476-3565 ext 3.
There are 2 harness adapters available - we carry the 1268 and can get the other seldom used one. I hope this helps |

Luke in your case it may be better just to cut that 24 pin connector off and find a harness with a plug to go into the new controller. Or a buy a new PDS harness and rip out most what you have in there now..
