You can always call Alltrax direct 541-476-3565 ext 3.
That solenoid has a diode built into it and the resistor is not used with XCT models.

You do not need to worry about the stock resistor. That is not used when installing and XCT controller, you can throw it in the box for another days' need. Your old controller received its "Pre-Charge" through that resistor, but the XCT you are installing receives it through the Run/Tow switch.

The only thing you will hook up will be the "Regen Diode" that was supplied with your controller. The diode is supplied by Alltrax to protect the controller if there was ever the rare possibility of a power loss and the cart went into regen.

Thanks for all the help, I got the controller installed tonight, only had to pull the batteries back out one time to switch F1 and F2 wires around. With a brand new battery pack, stock cart went from 19 mph with oem controller and speed code 4, to 23+ with the 300 amp controller upgrade. I hope this thing doesn't kill my new batteries.

The Batteries will only supply what your foot tells the Controller you want....

You never bothered me. The phone lines are always open if you need to call in the future. I'm glad that either this thread response or my email response was able to help you figure this out. Enjoy your cart and thank you for your business!

Yeah. I know. I saw.

Hard for me to get on here during the day. We've got a pretty full load at the shop. Lots of forum members have been calling for help during the day though, which I like. It's a good thing.
