Default Lift and tire size advice

Good afternoon all , new to this site have been reading a lot on here trying to get educated, I just picked up a 2015 Club Car Precedent (6 x8 v ) with the ( tow/ run switch ) .. that’s all I know , any way I am looking to modify somewhat with out going off the deep end ,has stock motor will have 4 pass. at times moderate hills . ( Scotty from Carts Unlimited has been helping me on the controller/ solenoid end ) Great help by the way responds quickly . Now I would like to know about lifting I can go 4” or 6” ,,,, 6” seems to be more popular then a wheel a tire size ,,, not sure what will work good I will be using this for campgrounds most have paved roads ( so no mud tires necessary) not sure on wheel or tire size 10” or 12” any advice is greatly appreciated as i am handy but no 0 about carts . Thanks

Default Re: Lift and tire size advice

It's personal preference really on how big you want to go. The most common combinations are...

3" with 20" tires
4" with 22" tires
6" with 23" tires

90% of my customers use our 6" lift kit with 23" tires and are very happy with it.

Wheel size is irrelevant when it comes to the fitment of the tires. a 23x10.50x12 is the same as a 23x10.50x14. They're both 23 inches tall and they're both 10.5 inches wide. People have this misconception that bigger wheels equal taller tires. They don't.
