accusense charger for club car (OBC delete)

That is the wrong charger as it is just a Power Supply and requires the OBC.

The correct DPI model to use without an OBC is the "accusense":

You may want to consider other chargers as well like the Summit.

That’s what I thought – I looked at the picture and it says Accusense on the label?

thanks,i guess there are pros/cons of each,seems like the summit is much smaller in deminsions

The Summit is a better technology with more features and a higher efficiency rate. Don't get me wrong, DPI is a great company and makes excellent products, but you will get more bang for your buck with the Summit II.

Accusense is their trademark name for that line of chargers. They use the same name on several others.
The BTL series charger is designed to work only with the existing OBC on a Club Car Cart. It's only a power supply box, and will not charge properly without a working OBC.

If you don't have a working OBC, you need the Accusense "Intelligent" series battery charger.

The Lester Summit II is a high frequency Solid State digital charger.

The Accusense is a transfomer type charger with a large copper coil transformer inside the case, same as every other old style Club Car, ez-go, and other "brick box" chargers. Totally different designs, each has it's advantages and disadvantages.
