Club Precedent Charge Light and Buzzer
Hello, I am new to forum and would like some help. Hope it’s ok to post here or please direct me to correct forum.
I installed an Alltrax controller on my 2017 Precedent. Yellow charging light and 3 beep buzzer has stopped working when Eric Charger is plugged in to charge batteries. Electronically, charger still works and charges batteries. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Or have the wiring schematics for charging ASM charging plug, battery charging dash light and buzzer? Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Re: Club Precedent Charge Light and Buzzer
The 3 beeps and the yellow light are only functions of the Curtis controller you removed.
Install a digital voltmeter in place of the yellow light and use that to keep an eye on your pack. Don't run below 50% charge level if you can help it. |

Thanks for the information! Was running around looking at whatever schematics were out there and couldn't figure it out. Thanks again!

Re: Club Precedent Charge Light and Buzzer
Hello guys, I appreciate any further feedback on this issue. My Alltrax controller started malfunctioning and I had to return for exchange. Reverse stopped working and monitor program returned a field open alarm. I received a new one and installed successfully and want to make sure it does not happen again. So only thing unresolved on prior install was the one of three blue wires coming from Eric charging receptacle. Red wire goes to positive side of battery pack, black wire goes to negative on battery pack. What's the blue wire for? On Curtis controller I suppose it connected to controller and controller sent info to buzzer to emit 3 beeps and light up yellow charging light on dash. Can I just leave disconnected? Or is there a way to make it work with Alltrax controller?
Thanks again for any information. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk |
