Thinking BigBlock. Output shaft question?
I have been reading all about the different motor upgrades for my cart. I totally forgot about a motor I have on a old mud machine I got in a trade. I went out to look at it, and it is a electric start vangaurd 16hp. I know I need a 4stroke rearend. The question I have is about the output shaft. It has a straight keyed output shaft. Do the 28 degree clutches have a straight or tappered center hole. I have a 2stroke,so I have nothing to look at for comparison. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Lots of after market clutches available for straight shaft motors like yours....... what is the shaft diameter?

If I measured it right, looked like 7/8 or 1". Dark when I was looking. Have any suggestions on where to start looking for a rearend?
