Default 2004 EZGO Stops/Starts Beeps

I have a 2004 EZGO electric PDS that will be running ok then slows down stops, then starts up. Will beep 2 times then 3 times. It may do this only once in a while or three or four times.

Your cart is goin into thermal overload. this can be from bad wires, bad controller, bad/weak battery, or you are just overloading the cart, hauling 4 people and pulling a trailer, or trying to go over logs.

are you lifted? what size tires you running? PDS are real funny about what you do to them for performance. Most go with a 400amp alltrax controller. this cures most if not all issues associated with stock 300 amp pds controller.

Many thanks for the information. Just tested the batteries and found on with a dead cell. Hope that is my problem. All equipment as far as I can determine is stock.

one bad cell will do. it causes too much resistance in the battery pack.
