1989 ez go electric won't go!!!!

One of the terminals prolly has 36v neg to it. Can you find which one that is?
Now with a jumper wire bring 36v pos to the other one and the solenoid should click.

If I remember correctly. that yellow wire should be the hot and the black is ground.

Put the black test lead on the black wire and put the red test lead on the positive battery terminal closest to the keyswitch (pos 36v) Step on the accel (with the cart in FWD), do you see 36V?

I can jump the solenoid and get it to click. I then took off the micro switch on the and it doesnt ohm out correctly. I believe it is bad. It sometimes fails to make a connectiona and sometimes wont stop the connection.

That makes sense. Take the two wires from the micro and hold them together......cart on jacks -key on-in gear-micro wires together & press the gas = does the cart run? if so get a new micro switch
