Charging taking along time after build?
I just finish my hunting buggies build and it seem's as though it's taking along time to charge. I took it out last messing around on the road for about 6 miles, when I came back i plugged in the charger to top off batteries for this weekend. This morning the charger was still on about 1 to 2 amps, about 7 hrs. The build is a 2007 PDS with A Allltrax DCX500,GE D1162,400 hd solenoid, 1ga cables,23" tires, headlight kit and a LCD SOC meter. I did noticed when i charged it a couple days ago the meter never did go back to full charge, even with the charger on. I checked the voltage on batteries and it's says 38.2 to 39. The shop I bought the chart from said they load tested them and they were good.Could i have something draining down during charging?
Thanks David |
