Problem With 8v Batteries
I loaned my cart to my uncle a couple of months back, he was having a knee replacement done. My cousin called me today and said the cart wasn't charging. Long story short, come to find out he hadn't been charging it regularly. Had my cousin meter the batteries, they are all down below 5v. When I had 6v batteries I would throw a car charger on 2 of them if they got too low. So the question is, can I still do that with 2 8v's?
I just put new 8v's in the cart at the beginning of the summer. Thx for any input |

Re: Problem With 8v Batteries
Charge each 8v battery with a 12v charger on 2 amp setting for about 15-30 minutes and watch them closely. Once you get them up to a voltage that the GC charger will come on, charge with that.
