Default No power on hunting buggie

I need help trouble shooting my new build. New batteries, upgraded 2awg cables, controller, motor and other misc. items. Going up hills my cart slows to a crawl and has no power voltage drops to 43.5v. Motor is warm after 10 min. My cable to connectors connection may be suspect, but I do not want to tear into that job until I am fairly certain as to what the problem is. Any input would be appreciated.
