Why no A/C carts??????
Been reading a bit about A/C drive systems and was just wondering why we don't see them very much? I know the drag boys use some A/C drives but why not on a regular cart? Is it the cost or what?
Just wondering.... Terry |

Yes it is the cost. I have not owned one but have converted them and driven them, it is a nice system at first impression. Pricey though.

Re: Why no A/C carts??????
was in my original plan to convert to AC. But at 2,600 bucks, it was a bit out of the old price range to seriously consider.

Re: Why no A/C carts??????
What do you mean? I'm all about AC motors and controllers. We got systems for CC Precedent (4 battery config) or EZGO PDS (upgraded to 48V).
Our system isn't pricey. It's probably somewhat more than a "hopped up" DC system, but not noticeably more. Click my album if you want to see our carts. |
