Default T105 or T125

I am getting ready to purchase new batteries and here are the prices t105-$99 t125-$125 and t145-$152. I wanted the 145's but I don't think they are worth the extra $. I am running 8 batteries and main objective is maximum distance. Do you think the 125 are that much better for the money?

T 105 = 447 minutes @ 25 amps

T 125 = 488 minutes @ 25 amps

T 145 = 530 minutes @ 25 amps

I use 105's unless customer just wants to spend more

Max distance means deep draw down. According to Trojan Battery co you can deep discharge their battery 700 times in its useful life. Or you can shallow discharge the same battery 5000 times.
Obviously if you get the T145 you will have a larger reserve so that the same 20 trip is actually a lower percentage of discharge, which should make the pack last longer than running a smaller capacity battery. It sounds to me like you are running on the limits of an electric cart.

I have been looking for numbers like this related to life of pack. How is deep discharge defined? Greater than 50%, 60%, 70%? Same question for shallow, what is max draw down to be considered a shallow discharge? Do you have any links to this info?

Thanks
Alan

I have exactly what you are looking for
When I posed this question to the Techs at Trojan Battery they gave me this chart. It takes a moment to figure how to read it...notice 0% of discharge is at the bottom left.

This and much more useful battery information is on my website.

So form the chart if you only use 10% of your full charge you will get 5500 recharges.
If you go 100% discharge it will only recharge around 700 times correct?
