Am i doomed? Battery issue
So I got in my 95 CC Series cart and tore thru the neighborhood to get to the course to play a few holes before dark. On the way, I'm thinking, either I'm in a big hurry or my cart seems a little slower. Patience son. Got my slip to go to the starter's, pressed on the go pedal and the cart shuddered. Last time that happened I got stuck on the course. A wire had broken last time. This time no broken wire but I sensed I was running out of go juice. Limped back home, checked batteries with hydrometer (STOP LAUGHING!!) and I found a dead cell in the four hole of the #3 battery (from left looking to back). Put it on the charger, checked again today and still dead. (Really, Stop laughing!) All others are reading at 1.275 or better. What would you do? I'm thinking I need to replace at least that battery. All comments welcome.

Re: Am i doomed? Battery issue
What year are the batteries and do you plan on keeping the cart? If you plan on keeping the cart and the current batteries are more then a year old replace them all. One new battery mixed with the older ones are just going to take the life out of the new battery and it might get you by a year or two depending on how old the current ones are but sooner then later you will be replacing them ALL again anyway.

Re: Am i doomed? Battery issue
Temporarily, try to find a used battery to replace your bad one. It should have the same ampere hour rating and be around the same age. This will allow you to still ride and " beat the ball ", and save up for the new batteries!
