Default LED volt meter trouble

Hi, today I tried to wire my led volt meter to the ignition so it would turn on and off with the cart. When the key is in the on position I cannot get any reading. When I turn the cart off I get the reading. IS something wrong or maybe wired inccorectly? here is what the back of my ignition looks like. I have the 2 wire meter.

Default Re: LED volt meter trouble

. . . how/where did you hook up the positive and negative connections for the volt meter?
