Default Curiosity

Curiosity question. Didn't think much of it when I got it, but on the front of my 02 cart just below the Club Car plate is an oval badge that has IR in it. I just thought the previous owner put it on. It matches the CC plate in color with gold trim. I was looking on Craigslist and saw a CC listed as an IR. Looked at pic and the same badge is on the front of it. Anyone know what it stands for?

Thanks CartTrader

. . . Ingersoll Rand is the parent company of Club Car . . . . IR also owns Thermo King, Trane, Schlage locks, and IR industrial equipment . . . and others . . .
