Tomberline Golf Cart Batteries
The lights, back up signal, etc. work on my cart;however, the cart will not move the batteries were almost completely discharged. When you charge the batteries should the tow switch be in the off position and is it off when the switch is in the upright position or down position? I am a Snowbird and will be returning to FL soon; however, my Buds have told me the cart won't run, any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Tomberline Golf Cart Batteries
The tow run switch does not matter. Tow position is down, Run is up. If you have an internal charger make sure it goes through test procedure then turns on. If you have an external charger make sure it turns on. And yes if the batteries were nearly dead then your cart wont move, they are very touchy. You may also have a dead battery. And make sure the water level in the batteries is up to level.
