Thanks guys for your answers, I have another stupid that I haven't been able to find out. I switched all the wiring on my LA batteries to 2ga. Do I need to do the same on lipo batteries? or just from the batteries to the controller? thanks. Tim

Lithium is no different in this respect. Lower cable resistance is always a good thing. You want the entire high current path to be low resistance. Batteries to controller, solenoid, and motor.
