Default cold weather reduced run time

0 degrees F most certainly quickly reduces run time on my 1 year old cart batteries, but geez my kid now has road salt residue all over the cart.

At least have him trained to always plug it in after using it, but no way to clean off the salt!

Can't wait for spring in Michigan.

At 0°F, the battery pack is down to about 50% of its AH capacity and at -17°F, it's only about 40%.

The climate wasn't the only reason I moved from MI to WV in '97, but it was near the top of the list.

All batteries suffer loss of performance in cold weather.

Yea, I lived outside of Detroit for 2 1/2 years. The day we got 14'' inches of snow in a 24 hour period was the day I decided to move back to South Carolina.

The UP in MI is really nice though.
